Abstract

To ensure the reliability of reinforced concrete structures linked to durability a full-probabilistic service life design can be applied. As the user of such models should have information of the model behavior a sensitivity analysis has been carried out, providing information to which extent the variables influence the calculation result linked to chloride induced depassivation of the reinforcement. In the presented paper particularly, representative alpha values have been evaluated to provide information to which extent the variables influence the calculation result (reliability index). Here, special attention is given to the critical chloride content as this variable is under discussion.
