Abstract
In order to counter the acute shortage of skilled workers, the recruitment of young talents is currently a crucial topic in geodesy. In the past, various actions and activities have been developed and established at universities of applied science and universities as well as in the federal states. In order to record and evaluate all these actions and assess their success, a survey was carried out at the beginning of 2024 among the above-mentioned bodies. The results were presented at INTERGEO 2024 in Stuttgart. The following article summarizes the results and findings of this survey and ends with a brief outlook from the authors on how they see the topic of »Recruiting young talents for geodesy« could continue.
