Abstract
Establishing the HarbourCity University Hamburg has combined architecture, civil engineering, geomatics and urban planning. These parts of the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, the University of Arts and the University of Applied Sciences develop a new institution with their own principles and objectives with reference to a common European standard of higher education (Bologna Process). The article describes scientific projects and new implemented study programs (Bachelor/Master systems) especially in geomatics and hydrography.
