This international workshop brought together researchers from HafenCity University Hamburg (HCU) and the Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zürich to exchange knowledge on climate-responsive housing, low-cost sustainable construction, and regenerative materials. Combining expert lectures, hands-on prototyping, site visits, and networking activities, the programme explored innovative approaches to self-build housing, circular construction, and passive design strategies. The workshop also strengthened international collaboration, fostered new research partnerships, and supported the professional development of early-career researchers working towards more sustainable and inclusive housing solutions.
