Dialogprozess Blau-Grüne Infrastruktur - Empfehlungen aus der wissenschaftlichen Begleitung für eine konsequente Realisierung von BGI

The authors organised and carried out a dialogue process with the city administration regarding the implementation of Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) in Hamburg. The overarching aim was to foster networking, expand expertise and provide support to all administrative stakeholders in Hamburg who are key to the realisation of Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI), in order to promote the establishment and implementation of BGI. Through a variety of event formats, various areas requiring action for the establishment of BGI were identified in collaboration with administrative stakeholders, and (in some cases) solutions for administrative practice were further developed. Building on the identified needs for action arising from the analysis of the dialogue process, the authors systematically developed a set of measures. These are based on the findings from the scientific monitoring of the dialogue process carried out by the HCU project team. The underlying question is: “How can the implementation of BGI be promoted in administrative practice?” All measures can be categorised into a total of five areas of action: 0. Improving the overall framework conditions A. Improving planning frameworks B. Creating more opportunities for the implementation of BGI C. Raising awareness among and providing professional support to specialist staff D. Informing, motivating and engaging citizens This report summarises recommendations from the scientific support of the dialogue process for the consistent implementation of BGI.
